Job Description

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in travel planning and In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, including popular tourist attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and local customs. If you’re a motivated, passionate, and remarkably effective travel planner, then this suits you.

Responsibilities:
– Travel planning to build comprehensive agendas/itineraries.
– Identify & research the best options to match the client’s preferences and budget constraints.
– Ensure agendas are well-organized, adhere to timelines, and incorporate client preferences.
– Coordinate with vendors, venues, and service providers to confirm reservations.
– Provide detailed information on availability, schedule, pricing, and relevant restrictions.
– Ensure that travel plans respect and consider the cultural norms of the destinations your clients are visiting.
– Accurate scheduling to ensure nothing is missed.
– Handle any necessary adjustments and changes.
– Processing/sending payments and late reminders.
– All admin/ad hoc tasks relevant to completion in your travel planning.
– Calendar and email management.
– Extract relevant information to improve efficiency in future planning processes.
– Display a sense of urgency (prompt response and immediate actions).
Thorough research & screening on these aspects:
1) Budget ensure all expenses are within the specified budget.
2) Flights ensure the best flight option is booked all the time. 110% ready for arrival, no excuses.
3) Hotels ensure accommodation and ambiance are satisfying.
4) Restaurants ensure they meet dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain a database of approved restaurants and their offerings.
5) Itineraries ensure proper scheduling for a seamless flow and anticipate any errors/issues so resolution is provided right away.

Requirements:
– Proven expertise in travel/event planning or a related field is preferred.
– Possess familiarity with the local area, its attractions & offerings.
– Updated on travel trends, new destinations, and local regulations.
– Genuine hospitality which means ensuring no balls get dropped.
– Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and other relevant travel/event planning software.
– Strong skills in organization and multitasking.
– Keen to details and problem-solving abilities.
– Effective communication skills (both written & verbal).
– Availability and hands-on as schedule times fluctuate.
