Travel Specialist for two week trip to Japan

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Travel Specialist to plan a memorable trip to Japan from start to finish. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of global travel logistics and have experience in creating customized itineraries based on clients’ interests and preferences. You will be responsible for organizing all aspects of the trip, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and daily activities.

Responsibilities:

Conduct an initial consultation with clients to understand their interests, preferences, and budget.
Plan and organize a customized itinerary that includes optimal flight schedules, accommodations, transportation, and daily activities.
Provide detailed information on recommended destinations, attractions, restaurants, and other points of interest.
Arrange all necessary travel documents, including visas, insurance, and other required paperwork.
Make reservations for flights, hotels, transportation, and activities.
Provide a detailed travel plan, including timetables for buses, trains, and other modes of transportation.
Provide guidance on local customs, language, and etiquette.
Assist clients with any travel-related issues that may arise before or during the trip.
Monitor the trip and make any necessary adjustments to the itinerary as needed.
Provide post-trip support and gather feedback to improve services.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a travel agent or travel planner.
Excellent knowledge of travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in English and preferably in Japanese as well.
Familiarity with travel-related software and online booking platforms.
Knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel insurance.
