We are seeking highly experienced Truck Dispatchers with a proven track record in navigating various load boards, such as DAT, 123Loadboard, Trucker Tools, etc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent route planning skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to negotiating favorable rates for our drivers. Responsibilities:
Dispatch owner operators a total of 8 trucks efficiently and ensure timely deliveries.
Navigate and utilize load boards, including DAT, 123Loadboard, Trucker Tools, etc.
Plan and optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
Negotiate rates with clients to secure the best deals for our drivers.
Maintain clear and open communication with drivers, clients, and internal teams.
Provide exceptional customer service and address any issues that may arise during transportation.
Qualifications:
knowledge of different types of trailers, and trucks
knowledge in finding loads for power only owner operators and how to book load-out trailers
Proven experience as a Truck Dispatcher in a similar role.
Proficiency in using load boards such as DAT, 123Loadboard, Trucker Tools, etc.
Strong route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Negotiation skills to secure competitive rates for our drivers.
Ability to handle pressure and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
this service is built by a truck driver so I want drivers to feel like family and cared for my dispatchers need to pay good attention to detail and know your driver’s names, and kids’ names and birthdays to show them that they are important! Make sure their home time is accurate
pay will be 1500-2000 a month for full-time days some nights and weekends are required if the driver runs into anything and the shipper or receiver needs to be updated or emergencies
