**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Virtual Dispatcher to join our team and play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the dispatch operations of our box trucks. The Virtual Dispatcher will work remotely and must be available during Eastern Time Zone hours. Your responsibilities will encompass dispatching, record-keeping, load booking, and paperwork submission to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

**Responsibilities:**
– Monitor and manage daily dispatch operations for a fleet of box trucks, ensuring timely deliveries.
– Assign and schedule deliveries to drivers based on route optimization, delivery windows, and availability.
– Coordinate effectively with drivers to ensure accurate and timely pick-up and delivery of freight.
– Utilize transportation management software and tools to track and update shipment statuses.
– Communicate clearly and promptly with drivers, providing instructions, updates, and support.
– Address unforeseen challenges or changes in delivery plans, adjusting routes as necessary.
– Maintain accurate and organized records of dispatch activities, including driver logs and incident reports.
– Complete carrier packets and required paperwork accurately and promptly.
– Book loads with brokers and negotiate rates for optimal profitability.
– Submit necessary paperwork to brokers, including proof of delivery and billing information.
– Collaborate with team members, including customer service and logistics personnel, to ensure seamless operations.
– Prioritize safety by monitoring driver compliance with regulations and company policies.
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

**Qualifications:**
– Proficient in spoken and written English; strong communication skills are essential.
– Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
– Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and load booking processes is a plus.
– Ability to multitask, make quick decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
– Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
– Comfortable using technology, including communication platforms, software, and email.
– Availability to work within Eastern Time Zone hours and handle after-hours dispatch as required.
– Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining a positive team dynamic.

**Compensation:**
