About the role:

We are actively seeking experienced and passionate Truck Dispatchers to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for seamlessly coordinating resource dispatch while playing a pivotal role in finalizing sales transactions. Key tasks involve efficiently managing resources, engaging customers throughout the sales process, and utilizing closing techniques to secure commitments. A strong emphasis is placed on clear and concise communication with both internal teams and external customers, adapting communication styles to different contexts. The ideal candidate should thrive in multitasking environments, demonstrate adaptability in dynamic situations, and possess a diverse skill set spanning both dispatching and sales.

This is a Full-time Remote position.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Dispatching and/or Sales roles in the Logistics industry, showcasing the ability to manage logistical tasks while excelling in customer engagement and deal closure.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational abilities to effectively manage dispatching tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and coordinate resources efficiently.
Quick decision-making skills and efficient problem-solving abilities, especially in time-sensitive or emergency situations.
Familiarity with local geography to facilitate efficient route planning and resource dispatching.
Proficiency in relevant software and technological tools for dispatching operations and sales activities.
A focused and results-driven attitude, with a commitment to achieving sales targets and dispatching goals to contribute to overall organizational success

Responsibilities (but are not limited to):

Effectively dispatch and manage resources, including vehicles or personnel, ensuring timely responses and optimal utilization.
Engage with customers, guide them through the sales process, address inquiries, and utilize effective closing techniques to secure commitments and finalize deals.
Maintain clear and concise communication with both internal teams and external customers, adapting communication styles as needed for different contexts.
Make quick decisions and solve problems efficiently, especially in fast-paced or emergency situations that may arise during dispatching or sales processes.
Utilize knowledge of local geography for efficient route planning and dispatching, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the entire sales process, providing excellent service and addressing customer needs.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics to contribute to organizational performance evaluations.
