Trucking Dispatcher

I’m looking for a dispatcher who can manage to book me loads on the load board. Dispatcher must like or love to negotiate and like dealing with brokers and shippers. Must be willing to work the night shift based on time difference and be diligent in searching the best paying loads to book a truck driver. This individual must be willing to follow instructions and be great to get along with. Will train the right person but I’m looking for that mult-tasking person that can handle more than 1 or 2 things at at time.

As I train this individual, this person must be a fast learner but also recognize their mistakes and be willing to adjust in a fairly fast industry. This person in the beginning will only manage my 1 truck, then in a few weeks they will manage 3-4, which also include a higher weekly rate, ranging from $300-$600 weekly. This all depends on the loads and the understanding of the demographics, various trucks and equipment, fuel and rate per mile.

If you have sales skills in negotiating thats a plus, as well as task management skills. Another PLUS for this position is if you have communication to the US when calling brokers for load purposes. Must have phone accessibility to make calls to US brokers and shippers.

I want to make it known that this is a over the PHONE job, NOT just a sitting behind the laptop job. MUST also have a working computer, laptop or phone. Both is preferred! Must have internet access and I do mean GOOD service INTERNET Access or find a place that has good internet service to see various loads on the load boards for booking. Must have a means to communicate to the US via phone. Pay can be every other day or once a week.
