Tutor/Python Programmer/Gamer

We are currently seeking an individual who has a strong background in education, technical background and experience in Python programming language, Math, Science, and with some experience in gaming. This position involves teaching a student and providing guidance in Python programming, while incorporating gaming elements to enhance the learning experience. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and Spanish, and have the availability of 10-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

-Teach and mentor a student in Python programming.
-Develop engaging and interactive lessons incorporating gaming elements.
-Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
-Adapt teaching methods to suit the student’s learning style and pace.
-Encourage student participation and motivation.
-Collaborate with parents or guardians to ensure a supportive learning environment.
-Stay updated with the latest educational trends and techniques in Python programming and gaming.

Requirements:

-Strong knowledge and experience in Python programming.
-Familiarity with game development concepts and experience with gaming platforms.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
-Prior experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a one-on-one setting.
-Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
-Availability of 10-20 hours per week.

Preferred Skills:

-Experience using educational tools and platforms to enhance the learning process.
-Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
-Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment techniques.
-Passion for gaming and its potential in education.
