Job Description

We are not just looking for a Social Media Assistant to simply fill a role. This opportunity is a pathway to joining a forward-thinking digital marketing agency, where your skills will be honed and expanded upon.

As you review the details below, feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about the position or our team. This role starts at 20 hours per week and transitions to 40 hours per week over a 15-day training period. Raises are contingent upon work performance.

This posting serves as an audition. We’ll be selecting 3 to 5 candidates for a test project. Based on your performance, we will determine who to bring onto the team. Strong English speaking ability and social media experience are essential for this position, but don’t worry, we can train you on everything else.

Position Overview:
Your primary responsibility will be to drive daily engagement across multiple Twitter accounts.

This entails:
Following and engaging with niche-specific Twitter accounts.
Stay aware of twitter and niche specific trends.
Ability to write witty tweets is a plus.

Qualities needed to be successful:
Skills are something that can be learned and perfected over time. As cliché as it may sound, there are three qualities that we prioritize:

Integrity: You are a good fit if you can be honest with your fellow team members. Open communication and honesty are paramount to us.

Commitment: We’re looking for someone who seeks a long-term relationship with the expectation that this role will transition to full-time. If you’re only looking for short-term work, this may not be the right fit.

Desire to Learn: We are a small team, but we’re growing rapidly. We want individuals who are open to learning new skills and taking on new projects.

If this sounds like you, please apply below. I will personally review your application, work samples, and address any questions you may have (seriously, the more questions, the better!). In your proposal, please start the first line with ‘twitter red’ so that I know you’ve thoroughly read the job description.
