We are a rapidly growing e-commerce company specializing in supplemental products. As a consumer brand, we believe in the power of user-generated content (UGC) to drive customer engagement, and increase sales. We are now looking for a highly motivated and experienced UGC Manager to join our dynamic e-commerce team. As the UGC Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and implementing a robust UGC program to enhance the online shopping experience for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Social Media, and Customer Support, to drive customer engagement, increase brand loyalty, and boost sales through the power of user-generated content.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive UGC strategy for our e-commerce platform, aligned with the company’s brand voice and objectives.
Manage and curate user-generated content, including product reviews, testimonials, photos, videos, and social media posts, ensuring high quality and relevance.
Contact content creators, send out products, and follow up to get the video and pictures back.
Stay on top of daily tasks, such as: messaging back to content creators, organizing content in folders, curating content, generating and updating scripts, collaborating with the rest of the marketing team when needed, weekly calls, etc.
Collaborate with content creators, influencers, and brand ambassadors to promote UGC and foster brand advocacy.
Implement effective tools and technologies to collect, organize, analyze, and leverage user-generated content across various platforms.
Collaborate with the rest of the Marketing team to incorporate UGC into marketing campaigns, product descriptions, and promotional materials.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive analysis, and emerging UGC platforms, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Analyze UGC performance metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to optimize UGC strategies and drive measurable results.
Minimum Qualifications:
50K or more followers
3-5 years of proven experience as a UGC Manager, Content Manager, or similar role in an e-commerce environment.
Strong understanding of user-generated content trends, best practices, and platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging copy for various channels.
Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing, and content management systems.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive UGC strategies.
Creative thinking and an eye for aesthetically pleasing content.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of SEO principles and how UGC can contribute to organic search rankings is a plus.
