We are looking for an experienced Video Editor for long-term collaboration. The focus is on UGC social and video ads, such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and other ads, based on user generated content and specifically produced video content.
The video editor will be involved at every phase of the content creation process – from scripting, to editing, to music selection and final graphics – to ensure that the final product is on-brand and on-brief.
Ideally, you have experience in online ads and commercials and a very good feeling for animations, cutting and editing videos with focus on attention grabbing yet authentically looking videos. If you genuinely enjoy the art of video editing, then this is the opportunity you’ve been looking for.
You’ll be the video editor in charge of creating engaging UGC videos for social media which will include the following responsibilities:
– Create (design and edit) native-style video creatives for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms
– Come up with storyboards, ideas for video ads, and be able to independently create shot lists, scripts, and iterate where there’s traction.
– Editing videos that follows a story and narrative
– Using VFX to make videos more interesting and engaging
– Creating trendy edits and sounds as seen on social media
– Knowing what is trending in specific age groups as well as general pop culture to better relate to viewers
– Understand the basics of marketing to provide a vivid viewing experience
– Understand and applying latest editing trends in the marketplace
– Producing quality videos in large quantities
– Collaborate with other members of our Growth team to brainstorm creative concepts for revenue-driving ads.
– You’re able to synthesize and expand on storylines from UGC content
– Positive, solution-oriented attitude and capable of managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment

– You’ve got the right technical chops: Advanced knowledge of the full Adobe suite, Adobe Premiere, After Effects and etc.
What You Have
– At least 3 year of experience creating and editing conversion-focused social media video ads for a fast-growing company. We are looking for measurable business results, not just views and engagement.
– A portfolio or examples of video ads you’ve created. You have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of short- and long-form content and a demonstrated expert-level proficiency in editing
– Experience working at E-commerce or Direct to consumer industry
