Job Description

We are looking for a rock star UI/UX Designer / Frontend Developer. This job is full-time, 40 hours per week.

Regarding our interview process, we believe that formal interviews don’t reasonably reflect people’s ability to deliver, their communication and whether they are a good fit in our organization. So instead, we do more minimal interviews and hire people on a probationary basis and during that time, if either of us feel it isn’t a good fit, then we can choose to part ways. Role (Overview of the Position):
As a graphics designer and front-end developer, your role is to creatively solve problems by combining technical skills and design sense. Your main responsibility is to bring digital designs to life by creating visually impressive designs that function smoothly on a variety of digital platforms.

You should have expertise in graphic design software such as Figma and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You work closely with clients or project managers to understand their design requirements and goals. You also keep up-to-date with the latest design and development trends through research and use your technical and creative skills to create designs that help your clients stand out from the competition. You are constantly exploring new ways to innovate in digital design using new technologies and unique design techniques. You strive to stay ahead of the curve in the latest design and development trends.

What sets you apart as a graphics designer and front-end developer is your ability to think outside the box and create designs that are not only visually appealing but also function flawlessly on digital platforms. You have a deep understanding of user experience design and can optimize the user journey to meet specific objectives, whether it’s to increase engagement, drive conversions, or enhance brand awareness.

Responsibilities
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product/project managers and engineers
• Develop and conceptualize UI/UX design strategies for the brand
• Creating logos and other designs for brands
• Communicating design ideas using storyboards, mood boards, user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Creating a color scheme that incorporates the business design motifs
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Creating UI that are user-friendly and aesthetically appealing
• Designing buttons and other UI elements for the site
• Adhere to the graphic design and typography style standards
• Collaborate with the marketing team and internal and external designers to make sure that tailor-made content is being created and delivered to the digital users
• Advice and guide the implementation of UX research methods and tests to ensure proper prediction and analysis of user behavior
• Test UI elements, such as banners, CTAs, page designs, page layouts, target links, and page flows, for landing pages
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies):

• Proven graphic designing experience
• Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
• Has Excellent visual design skills to conceptualize creative ideas
• Has Patience to gather requirements, do revisions until the clients approves
• Knowledge of the fundamentals in Graphic UI/UX Tools
• Adept with any new Design tools released
• Ability to convert mock-ups to working web pages
• Proficient with HTML/CSS, Jquery and Javascript
• Proficient in Latest/Recent Prototyping tools including but not limited to:
– Figma
– Adobe Xd
– Sketch
– Framer
– and similar Web based & Application
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (in English)
• Excellent listening skills with the ability to collect and analyze large amounts of data
• Can juggle multiple projects at a time while maintaining keen attention to detail
• Ability to improve business processes
• Adaptable with critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills – think outside the box
