We are a small but growing software company based in the United States, specializing in cloud-based solutions for the higher education market. We are currently seeking a friendly, skilled and motivated UI/UX Designer to join our team on a remote basis in the Philippines. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and interface design of our software products, with a primary focus on our cloud CRM platform.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and define user interface specifications for our software products.
– Design and develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively.
– Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform iterative design improvements.
– Create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interface designs that align with industry best practices and meet user needs.
– Develop and maintain UI/UX design guidelines, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across our software products.
– Collaborate with the development team to implement UI/UX designs and provide support during the development process.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
– Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or higher granted in a related design or technology field.
– Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design work.
– Willing to learn the web based design tool Penpot (which is similar to Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma).
– Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
– Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback.
– Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, layout, and color.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions.
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
– Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Schedule:
Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Philippines time, with a 1 hour break from 2:00 AM – 3:00 AM.
Compensation:
While we are based in the United States, we work with an Employer of Record (EOR) in the Philippines. This is therefore a full-time regular benefitted position. The rate of pay depends is Php 40,000/mo + 13 month bonus + benefits.
