Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with our website developer and project manager to bring web designs to life.
– Understand user requirements and project goals
– Conduct user research, user testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
– Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation of designs and provide guidance during development.
– Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure design consistency.
– Design and execute visually appealing user interfaces and ensure optimal user experiences for our websites.
– Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and communicate design concepts.
– Advocate for the user and usability throughout the product development process.
– Develop various graphic content to support company initiatives (both digital and print projects).
– Assist in developing the branding and design of new company brands from scratch
– Help to lead the design for new websites from scratch, ensuring they align with the branding and objectives.
– Work effectively in Figma to create designs, with potential use of Midjourney or other AI software for image and illustration creation.
– Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback and performance metrics.
– Design and iterate on user interfaces that are both aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest design trends and best practices.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

– Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably with a portfolio showcasing website designs.
– Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
– Knowledge of front-end development technologies and their impact on design.
– Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
– Excellent visual design skills, including color theory, typography, and layout.
– Excellent English communication skills
– Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar. (You will be using Figma!)
– Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Midjourney, or other AI software for image and graphic creation is a big plus.
– Strong understanding of design principles and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule:

– Full-time permanent position.
– Collaborative work hours to overlap with the core team located in Arizona, USA.

Experience:

– Prior experience in web UI/UX design.
– Ideally, experience with Figma.
– Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Canva or other graphic design tools is a plus.
– Experience or interest in Midjourney or other AI software is a plus.
