UI UX Designer With a Passion For Health and Fitness

We are looking for a talented UI UX Designer to join our company. As a UI UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating user-centered interfaces that meet the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and fitness, has excellent communication skills, and is willing to learn and grow. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create innovative designs that support our mission of helping people live healthier lives.

Responsibilities:
– Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
– Work closely with our product and development teams to design and implement UI UX solutions that align with our vision and goals.
– Conduct user research and create personas to inform design decisions.
– Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and contribute to the development process by providing feedback and ideas.
– Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our platform.
– Understand the laws of UX and human psychology to create user-centered designs.
– Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented accurately and to a high standard.

Requirements:
– 1+ years of experience in UI UX design, preferably in the health and fitness industry.
– A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent design skills and knowledge of design principles.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
– A willingness to learn and take on new challenges, and a passion for health and fitness.
– Knowledge of agile methodology and the lean startup methodology. (Preferred)
– Good team work abilities, and a strong sense of commitment and dedication to producing high-quality work.
– Knowledge of the laws of UX and human psychology.

This is a part-time position, with the potential to move to full-time work as the business grows.

Hourly rate is negotiable.
