We are seeking a talented and qualified DevOps Engineer that will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and operations teams, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software products or services. Will focus on automating processes, streamlining workflows, and improving collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Continuous Integration and Delivery: Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of software applications.
• Infrastructure Automation: Develop, configure, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of servers, networks, and other infrastructure components.
• Configuration Management: Maintain and manage configuration management systems to ensure consistency and repeatability across environments. This involves defining and managing configuration files, policies, and templates.
• Deployment and Release Management: Coordinate and manage software deployments, releases, and rollbacks across different environments (development, testing, staging, production) using tools like Kubernetes, Docker, or similar containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring systems and implement logging mechanisms to track the performance, availability, and security of infrastructure and applications. Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
• Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams. Participate in cross-functional discussions and contribute to the continuous improvement of software development and delivery processes.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Cloud Services: Work with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• With at least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of software development and release processes.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ruby, PowerShell).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and technologies.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI).
• Understanding of networking and security principles.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT
COMPUTER HARDWARE:
• Windows Computer (Desktop or laptop) no MAC Computer
• At least Core Intel i5 or equivalent
• Must have 8GB RAM (16GB is preferred)
• Must have at least 30GB of free disk space available
• Dual Screen Display Monitor
• One available USB port for the headset
• One Noise canceling headset like Plantronics or Jabra
COMPUTER SOFTWARE:
• Operating system must be Windows 10 Pro Only
• Must have the latest Windows updates
• Must have an antivirus installed and updated
• There MUST be no Possible Unwanted Applications (PUA, Malware, or adware)
INTERNET SERVICE:
• Should have cable or fiber internet service.
• Minimum upload speed (25mbps)
• Minimum Download Speed (25mbps)
NETWORK:
• Computer must be connected via LAN at least 100MBPS
• Good reception for WIFI
