Simplified Impact is currently seeking a motivated Digital Media Specialist to assist with marketing, branding of our products, and communication with our customer base. The marketing campaigns we work on often need material for social media, email, podcasts, ads, texting services, blogs, YouTube channels, press releases and other various digital platforms. What you write and create must be suitable for the client’s brand and campaign strategy, so you will be expected to collaborate with other members of our marketing and production teams to develop ideas and complete revisions.

Media Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement digital media strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth
Create and manage media campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and web
Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve website visibility and search engine rankings
Manage, create, and edit compelling online content, including blog posts, YouTube videos, podcasts, and social media posts.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of digital media campaigns, using data to drive decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital channels
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital media trends and technologies and apply them to our marketing efforts
Podcast editing / Video editing
Graphic design
Copywriting
Develop, publish, and edit timely content according to editorial calendars and current events
Create and maintain content on web pages utilizing the web content management system to ensure that the system is operational and that the website content is engaging, current, accurate, has a consistent appearance, is of the highest quality, on-brand and convenient to navigate
Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence
Identify the appropriate media channels where each program or service’s marketing materials can be delivered to the public
Measures and reports the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints
Identifies critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels
Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners
Provides thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Enforce brand marketing guidelines throughout each program and service to create a cohesive look and feel
Gather, compose, edit, and disseminate content such as news releases, agency literature, and articles in a timely fashion to media and stakeholders
Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV, etc.)
Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan or other duties as assigned
Media Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in product marketing, digital media, podcasts, media platforms, web, social, blogs, online content, communication software, creative, analysis, media campaign, social media strategy, and search engine optimization.
Relevant experience as a digital media or content specialist, social media specialist, graphic designer, photographer, and/or videographer
Strong understanding of media platforms, including social media, email, web, and blogs
Proficient in communication software and creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Develop and foster relationships with media
Website management including WordPress, Squarespace and others
CMS experience – especially
Knowledgeable of LIBSYN, Buzzsprout and other Podcast Hosting Websites
Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan or other duties as assigned
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
Full understanding of all social media platforms with experience executing social media campaigns
Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
