SUMMARY: Agility Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician for one of our esteemed clients, an Eye Clinic based in Florida, USA. If. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with patient assessments, medical history documentation, and patient interviews via telemedicine platforms.
• Educate patients on the proper care of their eyes and contact lenses through virtual consultations.
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and medical staff through video calls, emails, and phone calls.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy are upheld at all times, following HIPAA guidelines for telehealth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years of experience providing ophthalmic services to a US-based Eye Clinic.
• Proficiency in utilizing remote ophthalmic testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of ocular anatomy, eye diseases, and common eye medications, which can be applied remotely.
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records electronically.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Able to work during a graveyard shift to accommodate clinic hours and serve patients effectively.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT

COMPUTER HARDWARE:
• Windows Computer (Desktop or laptop) no MAC Computer
• At least Core Intel i5 or equivalent
• Must have 8GB RAM (16GB is preferred)
• Must have at least 30GB of free disk space available
• Dual Screen Display Monitor (24” wide-screen monitor)
• One available USB port for the headset
• One Noise canceling headsets like Plantronics or Jabra

COMPUTER SOFTWARE:
• Operating system must be Windows 10 Pro Only
• Must have the latest Windows updates.
• Must have an antivirus installed and updated.
• There MUST be no Possible Unwanted Applications (PUA, Malware, or adware)

INTERNET SERVICE:
• Should have cable or fiber internet service.
• Minimum upload speed (25mbps)
• Minimum Download Speed (25mbps)
NETWORK:
• Computer must be connected via LAN at least 100MBPS.
• Good reception for WIFI
