Job Description:

As part of our continuous pursuit of excellence, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated QA Automation Tester to join our talented team.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a QA Automation Tester at , you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading platform and related software. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test cases using industry-leading tools such as Selenium and BrowserStack. Your primary objective will be to identify bugs, assess risks, and contribute to the overall improvement of our products.
Key responsibilities include:
Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other appropriate testing tools to verify the functionality and performance of our trading platform applications and API endpoints.
2. Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with the QA team and software developers to create detailed test plans and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
3. Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, isolate, and document software defects and anomalies, providing detailed information to assist the development team in troubleshooting and resolution.
4. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression tests to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
5. Cross-Browser and Device Testing: Conduct thorough testing across different browsers, operating systems, and devices using BrowserStack or similar cloud-based testing platforms..
6. Test Result Analysis: Analyze and interpret test results to provide meaningful insights, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to product enhancement discussions.
7. Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the enhancement of the QA process, suggesting innovative ideas, best practices, and tools that can optimize test efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman (or similar tool/s)
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in QA Automation testing using Selenium or other similar tools.
3. Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack.
4. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
5. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
6. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for test code management.
7. Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in testing financial trading platforms or related applications.
2. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
3. ISTQB or similar software testing certifications.
