GMZ Media Group, a leading digital media organization with a collective audience of over 5 million subscribers across our diverse portfolio of YouTube channels, is seeking an exceptionally creative and dynamic Thumbnail Designer.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual representation of our video content, driving user engagement and maximizing click-through rates. This position will be a full-time remote role with a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging and eye-catching thumbnails for a variety of YouTube channels to attract new viewers and engage our existing subscriber base.
Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand video content and brand aesthetics.
Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing innovative ideas to improve click-through rates.
Implement A/B testing for thumbnails and utilize analytics to inform design decisions.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, and apply this knowledge to thumbnail designs.
Meet deadlines while handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, Thumbnail Designer, or similar role.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating engaging digital content.
Proficient in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Excellent understanding of YouTube best practices, algorithms, and user behavior.
Strong understanding of social media trends, internet culture, and viral content.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate in a remote work setting.
Creativity, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
