[URGENT] Web QA

As a Web QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications from the website journey to the onboarding process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to validate the performance, usability, and reliability of web-based software solutions. Your expertise in quality assurance methodologies and attention to detail will contribute to delivering a seamless and exceptional user experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform end-to-end testing of web applications during the onboarding phase to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
2. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of web-based software.
3. Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand project requirements, identify acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
4. Conduct thorough exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and provide valuable feedback for improving the user experience.
5. Conduct thorough testing of web applications that involve GET and POST methods to ensure proper data retrieval and submission.
7. Conducting API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and RestAssured
8. Document and track defects using bug-tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.
9. Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the web applications after updates or changes.
10. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and quality assurance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, preferably in web application testing.
3. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
4. Hands-on experience with testing web applications that utilize GET and POST methods.
5 Familiarity with RESTful APIs and understanding of HTTP protocols.
6. Experience with test management tools and bug-tracking systems.
7. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
9. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
