Job Description

Our Senior Accountants provide accounting support in all aspects of financial accounting on behalf of our clients, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, revenue accounting, and account reconciliation on an accrual basis primarily, with some cash basis clients.

The candidate in this position will be trained and should aspire to be an Accounting Manager or Controller as he/she progresses.

The position is fully remote and requires a high degree of comfort with a variety of software and applications and a desire to learn new systems as needed. The successful candidate will use various systems such as Customer Resource Management (CRM), electronic banking, electronic bill pays, and various timekeeping systems such as TimeDoctor, ADP, Paychex, Gusto, etc.
Responsibilities:
– Consistent, ongoing & timely coding of transactions.
– Detailed Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
– Provide timely and accurate payment processing of accounts payable for multiple clients.
– Respond to client inquiries related to accounts payable.
– Prepare customer billing on behalf of multiple clients and monitor Accounts Receivable Aging, notifying clients when payments are past due.
– Assist in month-end close procedures, including developing and maintaining work papers, and files on asset and liability account balances.
– Assist in the preparation of client budgets and forecasts as requested.
– Set up, monitor & plan the 13 week cashflow (we have a tool for you to use)
– Follow up on action items related to client service and collaborate to ensure accurate and timely services and reporting to clients.

Qualifications:
– B.S. Accounting/Finance
– Detail and deadline-oriented self-starter.
– Fearless dedication to client service.
– Strong client communication and interface skills.
– Ability to multi-task, interface with multiple clients daily, and exercise problem-solving skills.
– Strong organizational and stress management skills.
– Mandatory – Strong Understanding of Accrual Based Accounting!!
– CPA preferred.
– Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in accounting or related functions.
– Public Accounting experience preferred
– Knowledge of GAAP, regulations, policies, and procedures.
– Strong financial analysis skills.
– Ability to work with little to no supervision.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated and can stay with us in the long term. We do not want applicants with multiple clients. There is room for strong compensation for the right, dedicated and committed worker. Approximately 70k/ – 120k/ month, depending on experience, hours, etc.
