Our office support team is seeking an experienced CPA to be become a leader in the team, you will have the opportunity to develop and recommend tax and accounting strategies, with a deep focus on financial planning and analysis. You are the CPA who will be part of the backbone of what we’re building.

What You Do

• Prepare narrative responses to client questions
• Prepare customized client reports as needed
• Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports
• Researching and assessing tax issues utilizing tax related research software
• Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits
• Provide support on special projects
• Prepare bookkeeping entries (as needed)
• Build and shape processes to improve efficiency
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, clients and tight deadlines
• Assess and research difficult accounting/FP&A issues to identify solutions
• Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes
• Manage and maintain the company’s client database
• Collaborate with staff, clients and management
• Assist with Firm Initiatives as necessary
• Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in solving problems
• Perform proactively, efficiently, and self-manage

What Is Required of You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Relevant Field
• CPA Certification
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a tax accountant or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication Skills (or at least you love to sing Karaoke)
• Experience with various US Federal and US State Tax Returns (including individual, corporate, trust, estate, nonprofit and partnership)
• Knowledge of Tax Planning
• Financial Statement Knowledge

• Base Salary: $4.20 – $4.50 Hour
