Job Description

Benetnasch is currently seeking skilled and compassionate US Registered Nurses (USRNs) to join our esteemed team and provide exceptional healthcare services on board cruise ships. As a USRN on a cruise ship, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of passengers and crew members during their journey.

Responsibilities:

-Serve as a primary healthcare provider for passengers and crew members, delivering high-quality medical care and support.
-Conduct initial medical assessments and provide medical treatments for various health conditions, injuries, and illnesses.
-Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed by the ship’s physicians.
-Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate care and stabilization as needed.
-Collaborate with the ship’s medical team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective healthcare delivery.
-Oversee the ship’s medical facility, ensuring it is well-equipped and stocked with essential medical supplies.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients seen on the ship.
-Offer health education and preventive measures to promote overall well-being among passengers and crew members.
-Adhere to maritime medical regulations and protocols, as well as Carthona Medical Group’s policies and standards.
-Communicate effectively with the ship’s captain, crew members, and shore-based healthcare providers as required.

Qualifications:

-Current US Registered Nurse (RN) license, active and in good standing.
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
-At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in acute care, emergency, or critical care settings.
-Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
-Ability to adapt and remain calm under pressure in emergency situations.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
-Willingness to travel and work on board a cruise ship for extended periods.
-Knowledge of maritime medical protocols and regulations is a plus but not mandatory.
