Qualifications:
Must have solid QuickBooks Online experience (all clients are on QBO)
Proven experience working as a bookkeeper
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, able to work independently, proven track record of prioritization, positive attitude, trustworthy
Good internet connection at least (50 Mbps) (required because we use remote desktops)
Personal computer or laptop (with at least 8GB RAM), at least two monitors, a webcam, and a headset.
Comfortable with technology
Job Summary / Responsibilities:
Our firm is currently seeking a Bookkeeper with 5+ years of bookkeeping experience and exposure to QuickBooks Online. You will need to have excellent verbal / written communication skills and love working as part of a team. You will be responsible for undertaking all bookkeeping activities for multiple clients, but not limited to:
Transactions categorization
Asset and liability reconciliations (including payroll)
Ensure all vendors are maintained for 1099 processing
General ledger maintenance
Producing monthly financials including profit and loss statements and balance sheet
Drafting of emails requesting information
Keep up-to-date client checklists and informational sheets
Expected to review and train other team members’ work
