UX/UI Designer – Fully Remote

Position: UX/UI Designer (Fully Remote)

Salary: Starting $5.5 CAD/hr – 12 CAD/hr or around P38,000 – P84,000 per month

Responsibilities:

Lead our user experience work so our team will obsess over making user interfaces as easy as possible for the user to accomplish the desired actions.
Collaborate with our cross-functional team to conceptualize and design user interfaces for a personal health record app using Figma.
Learn about and develop a deep understanding of our users, including healthcare providers and patients.
Learn about and develop a deep understanding of our product, its end-to-end user journeys, and various touchpoints.
Use this information to create seamless mobile and desktop UI wireframes and mockups that prioritize user experience and accessibility.
Implement our brand identity, including fonts, colors, and design framework, to maintain a consistent, accessible, visually appealing UI.
Research comparable designs staying up to date with industry best practices, and obsess over finding the best answer for every UI detail.
Invite feedback from users and stakeholders, iterating on the designs until consensus is reached.
Work closely with front-end developers to ensure smooth implementation of your designs.
Measure and collect feedback on user task completion rates, via usability testing and funnel analysis data.
Provide daily progress reports to the whole team, and take the initiative to be communicative and responsive on channels such as Slack, Trello tickets, Figma comments, etc.
While not required, coding experience is a bonus and can be a valuable asset to our team.
Requirements:

Note that we have a very high bar for thoughtful, high quality user interfaces, and expect candidates to be in the top few percent among their peers, in this regard.
Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools. Ability to organize your Figma files to help the whole team understand the rationale behind the design and the user’s needs.
Demonstrated ability to design for both mobile and desktop platforms.
Experience working with front-end developers to bring your designs to life.
Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written, with the ability to converse effectively with the team and clients in English
Also an asset:

Knowledge of HTML/CSS and coding experience.
Experience with designing landing pages.
Experience creating digital illustrations, and using programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
