Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will help manage our Facebook group, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for our members. You will engage with our community, manage group activities, and provide excellent customer service. This is a remote position, perfect for someone passionate about community management and online engagement. Applicants must be available during US hours for at least 3 hours per day. Additional hours & increased pay opportunity available in the future as our community grows!

Key Responsibilities:

– Reply to Comments: Engage with members by responding to comments on group posts.
– Approve New Members: Let new members into the group and tag them in the Welcome video post.
– Moderate Content: Check the group spam folder, ban or unban members as necessary.
– Spreadsheet Management: Check Google Spreadsheets for repeat/spam emails and remove them from the group.
– Direct Messages: Reply to DMs as needed, providing support and information.
– Decline Posts: Decline inappropriate posts, explain why, and guide members on how to fix issues.
– Video Content: Create and edit video clips using Canva and Instagram for group engagement.

Required Qualifications:

– Excellent Written Communication: Ability to respond clearly and effectively, matching our straightforward and motivational communication style.
– Conflict Resolution: Skills to handle and explain declined posts diplomatically and helpfully.
– Professional Online Presence: Maintain professionalism at all times on Facebook and Instagram, understanding that your profile reflects our business.
– Customer Service: Committed to supporting FB members and WMW event attendees to ensure the best experience possible.
– Facebook Group Management: Familiarity with Facebook group features, including approving/declining members, moderating comments, managing the spam folder, and tagging members in posts.
– Spreadsheet Management: Ability to check and update Google Spreadsheets accurately.
– Message Management: Proficiency in managing and responding to DMs effectively using conversational English.
– AI and Video Skills: Familiarity with ChatGPT and creating/editing video clips on Canva and Instagram.
– Attention to Detail: Ensuring all tasks are completed meticulously without missing any steps.
– Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
– Soft Skills: Empathy, patience, proactiveness, and a genuine interest in FB members’ businesses, asking questions that start meaningful conversations.
