Job Summary:
We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for creating engaging content on Instagram and TikTok, managing email campaigns, handling social media communication, video editing, appointment setting, and contributing to lead generation efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Social Media:
o Create and schedule 2-3 posts daily on Instagram and TikTok related to the Canadian Mortgage Industry.
o Utilize tools such as ChatGPT, Google Search, and Canva for content creation.
o Submit posts for approval via WhatsApp and ensure timely updates at designated times.
o Follow specified color themes and visual guidelines for all posts.
2. Video Editing:
o Edit and post videos on Instagram and TikTok, both personal and AI-generated.
o Use video editing software and AI video generation tools to produce engaging content.
o Convert topics generated in ChatGPT into small clips or videos with sound as required.
o Occasionally work with provided video content.
3. Email Marketing:
o Execute email blasts twice a week (Monday and Thursday mornings at 9 am).
o Use platforms like Mailchimp, SendGrid, or similar software for campaign management.
o Manage email lists obtained from clients and lead generation efforts.
o Incorporate new leads from social media communication into email lists.
o Adhere to provided email cadence and content guidelines.
4. Social Media Communication:
o Monitor and respond to social media inquiries and comments (Instagram and Facebook).
o Use predefined communication formulas to maintain brand consistency and professionalism.
5. Appointment Setting:
o Use Calendly to schedule appointments.
o Send calendar invites via Zoom or Google Meet after appointment confirmation.
6. Lead Generation:
o Welcome and implement new lead generation ideas to enhance marketing efforts.
Skills Needed:
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
• Experience in video editing and familiarity with video editing software and AI-generated content.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adhere to communication guidelines.
• Competence in email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or SendGrid.
• Ability to manage appointment scheduling tools like Calendly.
• Creative thinking and ability to contribute to lead generation strategies.
Procedure:
• Submit completed social media posts for approval via WhatsApp.
• Utilize video editing software and AI tools to create engaging content.
• Manage email campaigns and incorporate new leads from social media.
