Long-Term VA Copywriter/Script Writer Wanted for YouTube Video Scripts. (Fitness Niche)
We are seeking a skilled Copywriter that understands YouTube content strategy in the weight loss and fitness niche. In this role you will coordinate with the content creator and production team to help us produce engaging and informative content for our audience of weight loss enthusiasts. We are looking for a talented copywriter to join our marketing team to write video scripts for our educational weight loss videos.
As a copywriter, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging scripts that convey our message and inspire viewers to take action. You will work closely with our video production team to ensure that the scripts are aligned with our brand, tone, and messaging.
This position will start with approximately 15-20 hours per week, focusing mainly on helping me create scripts for content. If you happen to be an excellent writer, proofreader, course builder, an aspiring digital marketer, or general VA, this is where the opportunity for pay raises and more hours (from 20 to 40) comes from.
Responsibilities:
• Write scripts for educational weight loss videos on a variety of topics
o Qty 5 scripts per week for 6-8 minutes of long form content
o Qty 21 scripts per week for 60 second (tictok style) content
• Create Video Storyboard (No graphics required, just story flow)
• Collaborate with the video production team to ensure the scripts are aligned with the brand, tone, and messaging
• Conduct research on weight loss topics and trends to stay up-to-date with the latest information
• Edit and revise scripts as necessary to improve clarity, flow, and engagement
• Work with the marketing team to ensure that the scripts are optimized for SEO and social media sharing
• Work with the content creator to develop and refine video ideas, scripts, and storyboards.
• Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search engine visibility.
• Ensure that all scripts are written to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a copywriter or similar role, with a portfolio of writing samples
• Excellent English skills in writing, editing, and proofreading
• Strong understanding of storytelling
• Knowledge on YouTube channel Growth Strategies is a plus
• Knowledge of weight loss and health topics is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and social media trends
