Job Description

OVERVIEW:
Our team is searching for a talented Social Media Manager (10 hours per week) with 1+ years of previous social media management experience to create and drive exciting content on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Pinterest, & YouTube.

TASKS:
• Editing and creating video content
• Creating graphics using existing templates & content in Canva
• Schedule content in advance
• Creating captions for all scheduled posts
• Hashtag research
• Re-sharing daily Instagram reels & posts on stories
• Creating & sharing 1-2 Instagram stories per week
• Reposting published TikTok videos on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Stories, and Pinterest Idea Pins (adjusting copy/hashtags to each platform)
• Sharing YouTube videos to Facebook Page, Instagram Stories & Pinterest
• Improve Social Media Engagement
• Engage with influencers
• Stay up-to-date with latest social media trends
• Report on weekly accomplishments

REQUIREMENTS:
• Speak & write in fluent English
• At least 1 year experience as a Social Media Manager
• Experience using a social media scheduling tools (ex. Hootsuite, Later, Buffer)
• Familiarity using Slack for communication
• Experience posting to Instagram, FB, Tiktok, & YouTube
• Experience with hashtag research (either manually or using a tool like )
• Graphic design experience needed – though Canva templates can/will be used, applicant MUST have good graphic skills and aesthetic sense (spacing, colors, scales, etc.)
• Video Editing
• Available for 10 hours per week

PROVIDED:
• Video training if needed
• We will work with your schedule to set a calendar in place that works best for you.
• Most (but not all) content will be provided for you to schedule/ create though some content you will need to develop with your own creativity (should be fun)!

HOURS: 10 hours/week
RATE: $7.00/ hour ($280/month)
