Job Description

Looking for someone who can handle a variety of tasks. You do not need to be an expert on all to start, but you must be willing and able to learn.
Native-like English fluency is a must!
You must be organized, curious, fast learner, and a self starter. You must also be customer service oriented and a good communicator. You must have good task management skills.

Preference for someone with experience with Short Term Rentals and Property Management — you will be helping with short term, mid term, and long term rentals. Tasks will include: communicating with guests/tenants, advertising properties, finding tenants, monitoring and organizing/coordinating cleaning and maintenance, keeping listings up to date, and maximizing bookings.
Some of the applications you can expect to use are: Airbnb, VRBO, Hospitable, BeyondPricing, Craigslist, Zillow, , and Facebook.

You will be expected to create processes around the work that we do, including writing documentation and keeping notes.

This will be the main focus. As you master that, I will have other tasks available. The more types of tasks you are able to handle, the more hours I will be able to give you. These tasks may include:
-Personal Assistance (travel planning/booking, dealing with internet providers, scheduling, talking with customer service, finding information, etc)
-Task Management
-Book Publishing interest or knowledge is a bonus
-Marketing knowledge is a bonus

I am looking for someone who will be a long term potentially full time assistant. I would prefer to start hours a bit lower in the beginning to make sure it’s a good fit. Once I can see that you are a good fit and that I’m able to hand tasks over to you, I can give you more projects and hours.

Working hours are flexible, though I would prefer that you are available during the hours of approximately 8am – 10pm PST for answering guest messages as needed. These are not frequent. It’s just a matter of being reachable in case a guest needs something urgent.

Scenario question: My luggage was delayed by 5 days when flying with Eurowings. I would like you to claim this for me in order to get reimbursed for my related expenses. How would you go about doing this? Please be as specific as possible.

Scenario question: An Airbnb guest messages during their stay, stating that the Wifi is not working. How would you handle this situation? Please be as specific as possible.

Scenario Task: I have a unit that I sometimes rent short term with Airbnb for example. I would like to rent it for a longer period, preferably from September or October until end of March or April. That is the ideal but I can accept shorter. Where would you advertise this apartment? If you’d like you can create a listing (WITHOUT submitting!) and share a screen shot of the form with the answers filled in. What are the minimum or maximum number of hours you can work?
What hours can you be available PST in case of guests/tenants messaging? (This does not happen often and usually only takes a few minutes at a time to answer, but it could come outside of your planned working time.)
