Job Description

We are not just looking for a Virtual Assistant to just fill a job. This position is a stepping- stone to joining our company Artistry Lather a growing natural bath and body product retail and manufacturing company.

As you review this description, we welcome any questions you may have about your position on my team. The position will start at 6-7.5 hours per week and gradually increase to a full-time position as you are trained, and the company grows. All possibilities for this are based on work performance. You will be paid $5 per hour.

This posting is for an audition to see if you are a good fit for the company. I will be selecting a few candidates who can show me how effective they are at navigating Meta Business Suite and email marketing tools to complete content posting assignments.

Position Overview:

Your role will be to take the content that will be provided such as written and images and properly schedule them in social media and email marketing tools for the first 60 days. After the 60 day training period, you will be responsible for creating written and image content for social media and email marketing. You will use Canva to help edit and create images. Some templates may be provided to you, that will only need you to maneuver text, colors, and some stock images.

For the first 60 days It will be your job to take the content items provided to you and produce:

– Social media posts

– Email marketing campaigns

– Images as necessary from the templates provided to you.

The requirements of each are listed below:

– Social Media Posts

Use provided captions and images (you may have to edit image templates at your request) and post and schedule posts for social media.

– Email Marketing Campaigns

Used provided email content and images (you may have to edit image templates at request) and sent out and schedule email campaigns in email apps such as Mailchimp and Wix (I can train you to use this platform if you are not familiar).

– Images as necessary from the templates provided to you.

Use templates provided for you in Canva and edit them specific to the respective brand for use on social media posts and email campaigns.

These items will require you to have an intermediate level of understanding of English to ensure no grammatical errors are present (as a second pair of eyes)

IMPORTANT NOTE: After the first 60 days you will be responsible for creating content.

Qualities Needed to be Successful:

Skills are things I can train you in so I will never ask you to do anything that you will not have full knowledge of how to do. What we are looking for are three key things.

Integrity, Commitment, and Desire to Learn.

Integrity. You are a good fit if you can be honest about every detail involving yourself and what will impact our work together. Open communication and honesty are essential to myself and the other clients you will help me to service. If you are not able to provide what is requested of you by a given deadline be open about it. We are all human and make mistakes you are here to grow with us and be an important part of our team.

Commitment. We like longevity and want you to work with us as long as you are available to do so. We have worked with some clients of ours for over 5 years, so we know the value of longevity. We are committed to a long-term relationship that will grow into full-time. If you only want to work for a few months, please don’t apply.

Desire to Learn. While we are yet a small team, we are in growth mode. We want someone who is open to growth and learning new skills that accommodate the existing job requirements.
