About two years ago, I’ve started a passion blog called with the mission to enable our readers to make a positive impact on the world & society. For this, we publish articles packed with actionable insights, written around some of the most pressing current issues.
Now, that we’ve grown to 10+ freelance writers, publishing dozens of articles a month, we are looking for you to join our team as our Virtual Assistant & Social Media Manager to increase our positive impact together!
Together, we aim to increase our publishing frequency, improve our published articles, and build a wider social media reach based on our existing content.

Here are some of the main tasks:

–> You’ll be responsible to publish our articles from Google Docs to WordPress (and to update/improve our existing articles). Within the WordPress editor, we have some important formatting guidelines that need to be consistently followed for each article (no worries, we’ll provide training videos and feedback too).
–> –> After publishing, you’ll then distribute our content to our social media channels. We’ll start with LinkedIn and Pinterest, but will include others over time too (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube).
–> –> You’ll need to adapt key content parts for each social media channel (e.g., tagging organizations on LinkedIn, adapting the featured image for Pinterest, creating engaging posts for Facebook).
–> You’ll be in charge of developing social media strategies for each of our different channels (next to the basic sharing of each article) to generate traffic and engagement for our site (we’ll be there to support you too).

Key requirements:

–> Detail-oriented working: you are the final quality gatekeeper for our content
–> Excellent written communication in English (C2 level) as you’ll be responsible for posting content on our social media channels
–> Solid knowledge of social media strategies and ideas to grow our different channels
–> Solid design skills (e.g., to transform featured images into Pinterest-worthy pins)
–> Basic knowledge of Google Docs and WordPress preferred (though not required, we could teach you that)
–> Desire to learn with feedback and with additional research and training
