Position: VA, Startup Business Virtual Assistant
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours / week)

Job Description:
We are a new software services startup, focused on providing custom software solutions for US-based companies. We are based in the US and are looking to set up an office in the Philippines. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping us with this.

We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Assistant who is eager to advance their skillset by joining our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years of experience assisting US-based companies and will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the success and growth of our startup.

Key Responsibilities:
• Online / offline Web research – Hone your problem-solving skills by tackling challenges with minimal direction, clarifying issues, and finding solutions that work for us. A lot of the job in the beginning is research based, so looking for someone who loves doing this. Examples include comparison shopping, market research, vendor research, getting quotes for different services, sourcing information etc.
• Data entry, email monitoring and management – Be the first point of contact for our customers by monitoring incoming emails and updating our CRM with new customer information.
• Scheduling and calendar management – Manage appointments, meetings, and events for the team, helping to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Meeting and Travel Arrangements – Research prices and book flights and hotel accommodations for business trips.
• Document management – Organize and maintain company files, ensuring that important documents are easily accessible and up to date.
• Invoice and expense tracking – Keep track of invoices and expenses (using Excel), ensuring accurate and timely records to support financial management.
• Other Miscellaneous tasks: as needed, including helping the CEO with personal administrative tasks, outside of the business.

Requirements:
• Candidate needs to be comfortable picking up and using the phone to call Philippines and/or American companies, as part of the Research tasks
• Detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills in English: written, reading and spoken.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• A positive attitude and the ability to learn from feedback.

Required Software Experience:
Competency in: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); Ability to use a Web Browser/Search Engine to search for information

(Nice to Have) Software Experience:
Experience using Wix, Basic Video editing & Photo editing; OneDrive; Trello; Slack; Skype
