Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our team in the combined role of Virtual Assistant & Writer. In this dynamic position, you will provide administrative and clerical support while also contributing to content creation across various topics. In this role, you will be responsible for creating content on a variety of topics, including educational, technical, and legal subjects. While no specialized knowledge in these fields is required, a strong command of American English and proficient editing skills are essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Writing Responsibilities:
Researching and writing articles, blog posts, guides, and other written content on assigned topics.
Ensuring content accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
Collaborating with team members to brainstorm ideas and refine content strategies.

Administrative Responsibilities:
Managing email correspondence and responding to inquiries promptly and professionally.
Scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, and coordinating calendars for team members.
Performing data entry, organizing files, and maintaining documentation in an organized manner.
Assisting with travel arrangements and accommodations as needed.
Conducting research on various topics and preparing reports or presentations.
Editing and updating documents using Microsoft Word.
Maintaining an organized file system for storing and managing written materials.
Providing general administrative support and handling ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Proficiency in American English language skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs).
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer/laptop.

Assessment:
Final-round candidates will be asked to complete an English grammar quiz and editing exercise to demonstrate their proficiency.

Work Conditions:

Remote position with flexible working hours.
Daily check-ins required each morning.
Activity reports required each night.
No computer- or time-monitoring software used.

Compensation:

Starting pay ranges from US$140 to US$175 per week, depending on qualifications.
Advancement to US$200 per week is intended for high-performing individuals within three to six months.

Availability:

We are looking to hire by March 1.
