Position summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Vacant Land Due Diligence Specialist to join our rapidly expanding team. Our company specializes in land acquisitions across the USA, and the Vacant Land Due Diligence Specialist will be responsible for performing in-depth due diligence on vacant lots nationwide. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, be purpose-driven, have clear personal and professional goals, and be eager to learn. Fluency in English is essential, as the role involves engaging with external team members via email, chat, and phone. Additionally, the candidate should excel in teamwork and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Coordination:
Collaborate with internal team members to collect and compile necessary information on potential properties to initiate the due diligence process.
Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team to gather comprehensive property details.
External Information Gathering:
Work with county officials and agencies to collect critical information on road access, utilities, zoning restrictions, and other essential details required for decision-making on vacant land parcels.
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant county departments to facilitate efficient information retrieval.
Presentation and Reporting:
Present collected information and due diligence findings to team members on a weekly basis.
Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive reports to assist the management and leadership team in making informed acquisition decisions.
Timeline Management:
Follow up with both internal and external team members to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Monitor progress and help meet critical deadlines to maintain the overall timeline for property acquisitions.
Required Skills:
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in performing in depth due diligence on vacant land in the USA
Knowledge of zoning laws, land use regulations, and property assessment is a plus.
Experience using tools such as , , and county CAD sites
Proficiency in using digital tools and CRM software is required.
Experience in property research and analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies.
Proficiency in compiling and presenting information effectively.
Strong follow-up skills to ensure tasks are completed within set timelines.
Positive attitude and steady demeanor under pressure.
Ready and eager to learn new skills and adapt to changes.
