Vacation Rental Assistant

My company is looking for a Virtual Assistant who is excited to join a scaling vacation rental management company that covers properties in the Mountains and Beaches. We provide guests with a 5-star experience in our luxurious properties.
As you review the description, we welcome any questions you may have about the position or the team. The position is full time with plenty of projects to complete. We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of a growing company and understands the hospitality industry.
We are all learning and figuring things out so strong English communication, grammar and speaking, is only one of the “requirements” for this position (we will train you on everything else).
The other requirement is that you have had some sort of work experience either with or for another vacation property management company, Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia, or any other vacation rental platforms. If you do not have any work experience with either of the above, please do not apply.

Position Overview
Your role will be to help us work the operations side of our business. This includes but is not limited to adjusting and maintaining listing pricing and discounts, listing descriptions, edits and changes, social media content creation, guide book creation and updates, income and expense tracking of all properties, finding and locating future properties. Don’t worry, we don’t expect much knowledge or previous specific experience in each of these, just a willingness to learn and communicate when you don’t understand something. We will give you a clear set of instructions and tools so that you can be successful in your role.
This role includes the following tools that will help you be successful so previous knowledge or experience with them is a plus:
Airbnb, VRBO, Expedia, or any other booking platform (You MUST have experience in working with or for one of these companies to apply for this position)
Google Sheets
Google Maps
Canva
Social Media Content Creation
ChatGPT
RankBreeze
PriceLabs
We will provide you with instructions and video training for each task you are to accomplish. We do expect you to work during our time zone EST and, we expect you to complete the instructed required tasks each week and communicate when you don’t understand something or something is unclear.
Qualities Needed To Be Successful
Integrity, Commitment and Desire to Learn.
Integrity. You are a good fit if you can be honest with your fellow team members. Open communication and honesty are paramount to myself and the team. If you aren’t able to hit a deadline or make a mistake, be upfront about it, we are all human after all.
Commitment. We are looking for someone who is looking for a long-term relationship with the expectations of potential growth in the company. We are currently a small team so there are potential opportunities for other roles in the future as we grow. If you are just looking for a few months of work, this is not for you.
Desire to learn. We are a small team and want people who are open to learning new skills and taking on projects. If you are not comfortable learning something new or asking for help then this is not the job for you.
