**Job Title:** Fractional CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for Consulting Firm
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fractional CFO to join our consulting firm. The Fractional CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the company. This role will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to senior management and the executive team.
2. Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
3. Manage and optimize cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management.
4. Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
5. Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
6. Establish and maintain financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
7. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
8. Lead financial due diligence for potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
10. Provide mentorship and guidance to finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous learning.
**Requirements:**
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
2. Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar leadership role, preferably in a consulting firm or professional services environment.
3. Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
5. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing finance teams.
6. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
7. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office suite.
9. Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards and financial best practices.
