Job Description

Warning: This role is not for the faint of heart. We are not looking for job seekers. We want changemakers! This job will either make or… will most likely break you.

This job will be a battlefield. It will require great attention to detail and a dire need to focus on leading a team with no direction at all. For you to step up the game, you must put a sense of direction and instill specific goals in your army. A chaotic mess will make your mind burst, and to escape this, an excellent action plan and initiative are needed. You have to make things work and push yourself and your troops. Finish where you started, or else, that red flag is still high up and you have to figure it out again. GET UP AND GET IT DONE.

You might be thinking, “Are these people crazy? What kind of company is this?!” Well, there’s one thing we can tell you, THIS JOB IS NOT FOR YOU. However, if this got your full attention then GAME ON. You will be on this uphill journey you’ve been waiting for!

In this role, you will be the tech headmaster. It will bring you pressure and headaches due to tons of responsibilities that will require your pure attention. You will start working from scratch. When we mean scratch, working from 0 to 100. You will work under pressure and meet specific deadlines. We will never force you to think out of the box, because we don’t believe in the concept of the box in the first place.

The word “limitation” is not for you, as you aim for freedom to stimulate creativity and innovation, not only within your team but the whole company. If you have the drive for excellence and make the unachievable possible, this role will give you an edge for success.

Seeking an IT Team Builder who has helped young budding departments blossom while it’s raining brimstone. Are you a systems architect who can team build a fast-growing wannabe tech company?

Learning – You always have this thinking that growth is essential and one should not be limited in learning new knowledge and skills within the four corners of the classroom. Whenever you encounter new things, your curiosity hits hard. You empower yourself through your willingness to learn.

Eagerness – Traits like confidence and self-efficacy are what you have. You always want to get things done keenly whenever you start on something. An impatient attitude that urges you to focus and say, “I can do it!”.

Tech Savvy – As we live in the 21st century, technology is what makes us move forward. Everything evolves with new tech that you love and enjoy using. You can identify and solve complex problems because of your analytical skills. As new technology comes by, you can easily adapt to changes. You are a quick learner and can be proficient in a snap.

Strategic Communication – When it comes to making the connection, you recognize that it’s more than just speaking. You value communication as a means for creating positive change. You understand that it involves connecting with people and creating mutually beneficial relationships. You also understand that it is a collaborative process and that it requires clear and honest dialogue.

Get On Base – It’s not always about finishing a task but getting them started. You focus on executing the fundamentals and consistently put yourself in a position to succeed. It doesn’t have to be a home run, just get on base.

Leadership – If you want to move up, you must create leaders in the organization. You are taking a mentor approach, leading by example, and engaging in development and training opportunities to help build the leadership abilities of others. Your goal is to establish a sea of leaders that can replace you for you to climb the corporate ladder.

Soft on the People – You treat people with respect and sincerity. You are open-minded and have the heart to understand and listen to people. You would work with intelligence, prudence, and positivity, rather than simply with force.

Tough on the Issues – When you encourage issues, you always put in mind the importance of accountability with a proper dedication to resolve them as required. You tend to avoid the tendency to overlook them or shy away from the tough tasks at hand and always hold to metrics. By being transparent on the issues, there is no need to pinpoint anyone as you have acknowledged your mistake and you know the right thing to do.

Extreme Ownership – You take full ownership of your area of responsibility. From simple to difficult tasks or roles, you get to prioritize them accordingly by executing them by yourself, taking action in motion at all times. As the quote implies, “Leaders must own everything in their world. There is no one else to blame”.

Candor – Knowing what’s right and true must be told with openness and honesty. You know where to stand at all times and you are not afraid to communicate it to your direct reports and/or managers. Informing them about their flaws and what to improve are taken as constructive feedback, and vice versa.
