Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of the next generations. We predominantly achieve this through delivering camps for young people who have significant and permanent disabilities (NDIS Camps) and camps for school kids in Australia.

We have been in operation for 9 years and have a reputation for being a leader in engaging outdoor programs. Students Explore Australia falls between the tourism, education and disability industries.

Role Summary:
As our Video and Graphics Editor, you will take raw footage that has been shot on our camp programs, and turn it into compelling marketing material that allows us to reach our audience better. Videos and graphics predominantly help our marketing team to engage with our audience, and as such, the content you produce will predominantly be used for advertising purposes. This pivotal role demands creativity, technical proficiency, and a passion for storytelling through multimedia.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing – Transform raw footage into polished video content that builds up our programs and allows potential customers to enquire about joining our programs.
Help refine company SOP’s and training / induction material so that it looks professional for when we onboard new employees.
Create reels, short-videos and longer videos every week.

Graphic Design – Develop graphics for program flyers, social media content and the company website..

Technical Skills:
Highly skilled and technically quick with any professional video editing software.
Highly skilled and technically quick with any professional graphics editing software.

The Ideal Candidate will be some who:
– Demonstrates a keen eye for design and a passion for visual storytelling.
– Highly experienced with video editing for promotional content (bonus for tourism experience)
– Embodies our core values
– Prefers to work 1 or 2 days per week, and can complete videos with fast turnaround times.
– Embraces new technologies, AI software and can adapt to changing requirements.
– An effective communicator, working directly with our digital marketing manager.
– Manages time efficiently, meets deadlines consistently, and maintains meticulous project files.

Other Requirements:
Stable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
High-performance desktop or laptop equipped for graphic design and video editing tasks.
The role is permanent part time and we are flexible to accommodate what days of the week you work, as long as the work is being achieved. Our office is located in Everard Park, South Australia 5035, and we work in the Adelaide time zone, which is 7:30am – 4:30pm in the Philippines. We welcome applicants who prefer to work from home, to skip the commute to work.
