Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video and Thumbnail Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video and Thumbnail Editor, you will play a crucial role in producing visually captivating and engaging video content for our brand. You will be responsible for editing videos, crafting eye-catching thumbnails, and ensuring the final output aligns with our brand image and marketing goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in video editing software.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing: Edit raw footage into compelling and polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, appropriate cuts, and synchronized audio. Trim, arrange, and enhance video content while maintaining a consistent style and tone.

Thumbnail Design: Create visually striking and clickable thumbnails that attract viewers’ attention, effectively representing the video’s content and enticing viewers to click and watch.

Visual Storytelling: Understand the brand’s narrative and translate it into compelling video content. Implement creative storytelling techniques to engage the audience and keep them captivated.

Color Correction and Enhancement: Apply color grading and correction techniques to enhance the visual appeal of videos and maintain visual consistency throughout the content.

Audio Editing: Edit and optimize audio tracks, add background music, sound effects, and voiceovers to create a seamless and immersive viewing experience.

Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging video editing and thumbnail design techniques. Implement innovative ideas and stay ahead of the curve in video production.

Quality Control: Ensure the final video output meets the highest quality standards, including resolution, aspect ratio, and file formats.

Efficiency and Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines WITHOUT compromising the quality of the output.

Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a video editor and thumbnail designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work and achievements.

Software Proficiency: Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) is essential.

Creativity: A creative mindset with an ability to envision and execute visually compelling ideas that align with the brand’s identity.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in video and thumbnail production. Adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and take feedback constructively.

Time Management: Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.

Copyright License: Have the copyright license to audio, visual, pictures, b roll, and all content within video.
