Video Animator

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Animator to join our team and create a captivating 1-minute explainer video for our Shopify SaaS tool. As a Video Animator, you will be responsible for transforming our story into engaging visual narratives through animation, motion graphics, and visual effects. Your work will play a crucial role in effectively communicating the features, benefits, and value proposition of our Shopify SaaS tool to our target audience.

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to understand the key messages, target audience, and goals for the 1-minute explainer video.
2. Translate technical information into clear and concise visual representations that engage and educate viewers.
3. Create storyboards and visually plan the animation sequence, ensuring alignment with the project goals and brand identity.
4. Design and animate visually appealing characters, graphics, and objects using various animation techniques (2D, 3D, or motion graphics) to bring the explainer video to life.
5. Utilize sound design, voice-over recordings, and appropriate background music to enhance the overall viewer experience.
Iterate and refine animations based on feedback from stakeholders, making necessary adjustments to meet project objectives and maintain consistency with brand guidelines.

Qualifications:
1. Proven work experience as a Video Animator or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your animation skills and creativity.
2. Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar tools.
3, Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling techniques.
4. Experience in creating 2D or 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects.
5. Strong graphic design skills and the ability to create visually appealing assets.
6. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and understand project requirements.
7. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
8. Creativity, imagination, and a passion for visual storytelling.
9. Familiarity with e-commerce, Shopify, or SaaS tools (preferred but not required).
