Video Clip Researcher for YouTube Commentary Channel

Are you passionate about pop culture, current events, and Christianity? William Crockett’s YouTube channel, with over 20,000 subscribers and 3 million views, is looking for a Video Clip Researcher to find and prepare video clips for commentary. Your role will be to identify controversial and trending clips and deliver them for commentary (very minimal video editing experience required). We already have a video editor that will combine all the footage – we simply are looking for a professional to identify the clips for William to commentate on.

Responsibilities:
– Research and identify video clips on controversial and trending topics in the U.S. and global culture, with a focus on Christian perspectives.
– Use basic video editing software to cut clips into 2-minute or shorter segments.
– Deliver edited clips via Google Drive for commentary.
– Stay updated on current events, pop culture, and Christian issues to find relevant content.
– Ensure clips are high-quality and suitable for commentary.

Requirements:
– Very good in English with a great understanding of pop culture, current events, and Christian issues.
– Basic video editing skills using simple software or web applications.
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
– Reliable internet connection for research and file uploads.
– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Pay and Application:
– $4-$8 per hour.
– To apply, please test your skills by providing for William, 3 clips that he can commentate on. Find (3) 2-minute or less clips on the internet that are controversial or trending. You can find these clips from Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Candace Owens, etc. We want to make sure you have an idea of what is being asked of you.
