Job Description:

As a Video Editor, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our company’s digital narrative. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our brand’s presence across various social media platforms by crafting brief but impactful videos, akin to the style of Alex Hormozi. You’ll work closely with our creative team, transforming raw footage into polished pieces of content that resonate with our audience and reflect our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw footage, including interviews, B-rolls, and screencasts.
Use your editing skills to create social media shorts in the style of Alex Hormozi.
Collaborate with the creative team to script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects.
Implement creative decisions such as choice of music, sound effects, and graphics.
Use digital editing software applications, video switching devices, digital video effects programs, and post-production software and processes.
Participate in video strategy development and suggest creative ideas for content marketing.
Review all edited tapes to identify any issues and make corrections as required.
Maintain an organized video library and participate in the process of archiving.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut).
Strong understanding of timing, pacing, and working with music.
Creative with a keen eye for storytelling and detail.
Solid knowledge of social media platforms and the types of content that perform best on each.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with the works of Alex Hormozi and ability to mimic similar video editing styles.
