REI Made Easy, Inc. is in search of a VIDEO EDITING AND ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT who will work alongside our Video Production Team and Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate is confident, experienced, creative, and intuitive, and is looking to join our organization, long-term. Our goal is to find someone who loves video editing and production, so “work” just feels like “play.”
This position will begin with a part-time trial period, with the expectation to move up to full time within 90 days. We will also pay PhilHealth & SSS after 90 days, not to mention additional bonuses and opportunities for growth that come with stellar performance in this role.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Video Editing Administration Assistant will be an integral member of our Video Production Team. The focus of this role will be on the initial cutting up of longer form content under the guidance of our Senior Video Editor. Additionally this role will be responsible for editing all of the shorts for YouTube Shorts, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn. The Video Editing Administration Assistant will also work directly with the Social Media Manager to create stills, thumbnails, and memes for all of our social media platforms, requiring a propensity toward graphic design. They will also be responsible for creating spreadsheets to track video segments; creating chapter markers and titles, as well as descriptions and hashtags.
REQUIRED Qualifications:
Experience in video editing and/or video production is ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED.
Must be highly skilled at graphic design
An expert understanding and mastery of the following platforms is required:
Writing & Reading English
Adobe Premiere Pro CC
YouTube
Canva
Google Sheets
Dropbox
The ability to handle multiple projects per week, and dozens of projects per month.
Take quality notes, document work, and translate directives into a finalized product.
In collaboration with the Social Media Manager, produce content for Facebook stories, Instagram posts, YouTube shorts
Work alongside the Video Editor to interpret metric trends and produce content accordingly
PREFERRED Qualifications:
An Expert understanding and mastery of the following platforms:
Descript (online editor/transcription software)
Adobe Soundbooth (or similar tool to edit audio, as needed)
Viddyoze (DFY motion graphics, plug-and-play)
Motion Array (stock footage, audio and photos)
Slack (this is what we use to communicate)
