Video Editing for Youtube Short & Videos

I have 2 youtube channels that I have just recently started. One is a review channel that will review things from technology all the way to cars, restaurants, and even music festivals. The other is a technical channel that has a lot of how-to and technical content in the pipeline. This work will require close attention to detail.

Here are some tasks this long term role will require:

– Audio editing/splicing, removing bad takes, white space, umm’s etc.

– Video editing/matching the audio to the video/adding footage for media we have rights to when recorded footage doesn’t correspond to what is being talked about in a scene. (seeking editor with Da Vinci Resolve for improved collaboration purposes).

– (Optional/Bonus) if you have graphical design experience and can make thumbnails as well. If not that is fine, this is something I can do as well (I use Affinity Designer/Photo–you don’t have to).

– (Optional/Bonus) script review/editing to help with pacing provide me your editor insight into my scripts before I record the voice overs.

I have a lot of content (a minimum of 6 full length Youtube videos to be released by mid Feb 2024) in the pipeline I want to move quickly on (and more beyond that which don’t currently have due dates). I see the long term role being at the very least a part time gig depending on how fast you are and how many tasks you are able to do.

I have produced and released 3 videos across the two channels that I produced and edited myself entirely using DaVinci Resolve. Since that is my software tool of choice I will require that early-on my editor use DaVinci Resolve so that I may make modifications/edits to the project if necessary.

As this is just a beginning venture I am self funding this entirely out of pocket so my budget is low, but I am a firm believer in rewarding those that do good work and as the channel grows so will your remuneration. I am a pretty understanding person and am open to new thoughts/ideas and viewpoints. and believe I am relatively easy to work with. Look forward to working with you!
