We seek a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our dynamic team full-time and permanently work from home!
We are a leading water filter company in Australia committed to providing people with clean and safe drinking water worldwide.
As a Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together to tell our story, match the directors’ vision and showcase our innovative water filtration systems through high-quality video content.
Requirements:
At least two years of proven work experience as a Video Editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Lightworks, Final cut, etc.)
Demonstrable video editing ability with an excellent portfolio
Working knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines
Knowledge of the water filtration industry is a plus.
An academic degree in cinematography, film or a related field is a plus but not required.
Projects:
Creating video content such as product videos, interviews, product reviews, product demos, YouTube and other social media marketing videos.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality video content showcasing our products and services and our commitment to providing clean and safe drinking water.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with our brand’s vision and values.
Review shooting script, raw material and trim footage segments to create a shot decision list based on production needs and specifications.
Add special effects, music, sound, dialogues and graphics to enhance videos.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Consult with directors from production to the post-production process.
Continuously explore and initiate new editing techniques, technologies and the industry’s best practices to maximise efficiency.
