Video Editor

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for telling stories through visual media and a strong technical understanding of the video editing process. This role requires a creative and collaborative team player who can work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Edit video content for a variety of projects including explainer videos, training videos, and more. Videos usually range between 10-15 minutes on average.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that the edited footage accurately reflects the intended vision and message.
Ensure that all video content meets technical standards, such as format, aspect ratio, and color correction.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide feedback on edits.
Stay up-to-date with the latest editing software and technologies to maintain high-quality standards.
Meet tight deadlines while balancing multiple projects at once.

Requirements
Should be professional with minimal to no supervision needed
Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
Able to follow creative brief and editor’s script
Communicate with the team leader if there are any questions or clarifications.
Can turn around projects at the given timeline (it would be great if you can submit even earlier!)
3+ years of experience in video editing
Strong technical knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and the like.
Proficiency in special effects, color correction, and audio mixing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

To be considered for this position, you will be given a paid trial. If you get hired, we will use your video, and you will be paid the trial along with the completion of the video. Successful candidates will be paid on a per project basis. Expect an on-going stream of projects for the long term.

Once hired, you will be given access to Envato Elements. Voice Over will be provided as well.
