Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing and post-production, with proficient skills in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro and extensive knowledge of After Effects. The candidate should possess a keen sense of storytelling and be able to convey powerful messages and narratives through video, both with and without an editing shot list. This role requires a creative individual who understands how to captivate an audience and enhance viewer engagement through compelling visual content.

Responsibilities:
Video Editing and Production: Utilize Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro to edit video content, ensuring smooth transitions, coherent storylines, and high-quality output. Must be able to work efficiently with or without an editing shot list, adapting to changes in project direction as needed.

Post-Production Mastery: Leverage After Effects to add special effects, animations, and other visual enhancements that elevate the storytelling and visual appeal of video content.

Storytelling: Craft narratives that engage and resonate with audiences, understanding the nuances of visual storytelling and how to convey messages effectively through video.

Creative Input: Contribute creative ideas and perspectives to the planning and execution of video projects, ensuring content is fresh, innovative, and aligned with the brand’s identity and goals.

Audience Engagement: Develop video content that captivates the target audience, encourages sharing, and promotes viewer engagement and retention.

Collaboration: Work closely with the content team, directors, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, themes, and expectations. Provide input on shooting scripts and storyboards as needed.

Quality Control: Ensure all video content meets the company’s quality standards and brand guidelines. Review final products for any errors or improvements before publication.

Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively. Stay organized and communicate progress regularly to the team.

Technical Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest in video editing software updates, techniques, and industry trends to continually improve skill set and product quality.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects.

Proficiency in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

Extensive knowledge of After Effects for post-production enhancements.

Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to convey messages through video.

Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
