Video Editor

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Time Video Editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro to join our growing team. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling and visually stunning video content that aligns with our brand identity and engages our audience. You will be working with an international creative team.

Our customers range from podcasters and thought leaders to content marketing agencies and YouTubers. This vast array of clientele allows our Video Editors to get the fun opportunity to work with a multitude of different industries and employ a wide range of video editing styles and tactics. If you are passionate about storytelling, have a keen eye for detail, outstanding communication skills, and possess advanced skills in video editing, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
– Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, engaging videos for various platforms and purposes
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and deliver high-quality video content that meets those objectives
– Ensure consistency in style, branding, and messaging across all video projects
– Stay updated on industry trends and implement new editing techniques to enhance video quality
– Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and project timelines
– Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for video content

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent. Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite software (After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
– Proficient in video compression, codecs, aspect ratios, and other technical aspects of video production. Experience with motion graphics and animation is an advantage.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table
– Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus
– Must have a minimum of 40Mbps download speed and 5Mbps upload speed.
– Must be available to work Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Central Standard Time (US).
