Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Video Editor with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, engaging social media content for established brands. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for visual storytelling, the ability to work from mood boards, and a strong understanding of current content trends. This role requires proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite, including motion graphics, to create visually stunning content that captures and retains viewer attention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with creative directors and marketing teams to produce high-quality video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Edit both short-form and long-form videos, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative.
• Work from mood boards and take direction to model existing trends and create visual hooks.
• Stay updated with current content trends to produce relevant and innovative video content.
• Create and integrate motion graphics into video content as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Review and understand client feedback, making revisions as necessary to meet their expectations.
• Maintain a strong portfolio of work that showcases your editing skills and creativity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably within a commercial or brand-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to take direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Passion for media and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with color grading and sound design.
• Knowledge of current trends in social media and digital marketing.
• Familiarity with generating AI avatars a bonus.
• Basic understanding of cinematography and camera operation.

Additional Information:

• For the successful candidate, this job can evolve into part-time or full-time work as our company grows.
